GOOD GOVERNANCE

The Trustees take seriously their responsibility to be attentive fiduciaries of the assets of The Fund. This includes oversight of investments and decision-making on all expenditures with a steadfast goal of helping our community. They work to represent the highest standards of nonprofit governance, and as such have adopted a conflict of interest policy and a whistleblower policy.

The 2011 Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees of The Fund for Greater Hartford is made up of thirteen diverse individuals from our region. The Board exercises strict fiduciary responsibility, as well as all governance oversight. Standing committees of the Board are Finance, Nominations, and Evaluation, and other committees may be created as needed. The Board as a whole makes most decisions.
